County Fair - Equipment Prep and Staging Day
When SPW moves to the County Fair, it is a major undertaking. We move 5 lathes, one of which is the large Powermatic. Plus, we must take anything else that we can possibly need while at the Fair - drill press, shop vacs, sharpening system, wood for turning, power chords, hand tools, tables, chairs, and on and on. And we move all of the masterpieces that our members have turned for our fundraising efforts at the fair. This is done by preparing everything and staging it on the Wednesday before the fair opens, pack and move Thursday, and set everything up in our booth. And then show up on Friday to kick off our efforts. So, this first day is for preparing and staging the equipment. Just his that Save My Spot button to volunteer to help out.
