Ikebana Spikey Flower Bowl Workshop
The demonstration for the morning meeting will be presented by Jim Duxbury on making his Ikebana Spikey Flower Bowl. Following a break for lunch, there will be a workshop on making the same, which is an eccentrically turned base that holds a spiked cup to receive and hold flowers. We have some exceptional wood for this event – some Ambrosia maple, Padauk, and a few pieces of black walnut for the participants to choose from. This day, we believe, will provide an exceptional meeting, demonstration, and follow on workshop. Join us for a lot of fun, learning, and creating a truly outstanding art form.
Cost: $45 (materials included).
