2025 was a banner year for Southern Piedmont Woodturners at the Cabarrus County Fair. Our participation provided a real sense of community as well as an opportunity for members to collaborate, interact with each other, socialize, and even pick up a turning pointer or two along the way. But the highlight still remains the kids. Witnessing their response when a top is made and given to them provides a reward unlike any other.
