Southern Piedmont Woodturners (SPW) is a Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW). The AAW strives to deliver the publications and services that our members need to grow, connect, explore, and thrive in the areas of woodturning that are important to them. With 15,000+ members and 350+ chapters internationally, AAW’s many resources, including the award-winning American Woodturner journal, help members to learn, create, and connect.

New Resource from the American Association of Woodturners
The AAW just launched the new AAW EXPLORE to members. This new resource makes exploring the most extensive online woodturning library in the world, quick and easy. Whether it's to solve a problem, research a new technique, or start a new woodturning project, AAW members will be only seconds away from getting precisely the information they desire using EXPLORE!
More than 2,500 items currently make up the expanding EXPLORE! collection, including articles from thirty years of the American Woodturner journal and AAW's cumulative collection of complementary publications. Nearly everything members want to know about woodturning will be at their fingertips! Following is a diagram to show you how to utilize EXPLORE.
